WHATS UP BALLERS!
Last Sunday, April 16th 2023, the Ball inn team made their way down to Forum, Barcelona for a great afternoon of basketball and meeting new ballers. What better way to spend your Sunday afternoon in sunny Barcelona.
The streetball community “Streetball Cantu” came down from Terrassa, a small city right outside of Barcelona, but where the passion for basketball and community was clear to us from the start. They organized a mixed 2v2 tournament on the Nike Play Now court, so we had to show up with our cameras and got some great pics along the way. Raph our main photographer really outdid himself on these ones.
We rolled up with a few players and signed up Aitor and Paulo to compete together. The tournament had some crazy rules, which made the games even more intense and fun to watch. For example, at any time during the game you could play a joker card, basically handicapping the team. 1 minute of 2vs1, no three pointers, only a few dribbles, and more.
The boys made their way to the final and won it all after some shifty plays and impressive dunks. The winners and all participants were awarded with some fun Nike goodies to end the day.
Big up to Pol, the Streetball Cantu boys, and Iker from Nike for putting this together. It was a pleasure meeting and competing with you all and I’m sure we’ll see each other soon, on & off the court!
