These past few years, we’ve all witnessed how unstoppable Giannis Antetokounmpo can be. It's not just his insane athleticism that got Giannis his nickname the Greek Freak, his ability to drive the basket and score on anyone can be just as freaky...

Last Saturday we went to the second Ball inn Skills session at TimeChamber in Barcelona. The focus of the training session was to learn how to "Drive Like Giannis".

Not an easy task,but here's what I got from our training session.

To develop that type of skill and learn Giannis' unguardable moves, it's important to practice & repeat the same drills that he consistently works on. And that's what we did. Coach Iandrey, the founder of TimeChamber, with the help of Coach Adrian, showed us a series of tough drills and gave us the personalized insights we needed to improve our game and be better at driving to the basket.

Driving to the basket requires you to have control over your body and the ability to make quick decisions on the court. Try to read your defender and react in the most effective way possible, in just a split second. By learning the proper footwork and body control you can get to the basket quickly, efficiently and with power. It all comes down to learning the proper techniques, having a bag of different moves, finishing strong and putting in the work to maximize your potential and become a more effective scorer in the paint. Just like Giannis.

We finished the session with some 1v1s to apply the new moves we had just practiced. And let me tell you that i can't wait to use these moves in pick up games around the courts of Barcelona.
